You are probably wondering who my horses are. I mean, I have mentioned a couple of names, but I haven’t told you in detail about my horses and their personalities. Everyone knows that every horse has their own “horseonality.” Enjoy reading!
My horse is named, Sky. Sky, is 13 years old and is a chestnut quarter horse. Sky was actually my Nana’s horse, but then we trailered her to where I live now and she is currently at my barn. She has such a great personality. Sky has a very calm and sensitive demeanor. Nothing usually bothers her, which I really like. I have been doing a lot of training with her and I am even teaching her how to bow right now. She is not my dressage horse, but I think one day she could be.
Kahari is one of the horse’s I don’t own but just ride sometimes. She is an amazing horse! Kahari is 17 years old (she does not act like she is 17) and she is an Arabian. She has definitely improved a ton since I first started riding her. Kahari has been made for dressage! Usually, when I have my dressage lessons, I will ride Kahari. When I first started riding Kahari, she was very tense all of the time. But, after I had worked with her for a while, she started to settle
down and be much more enjoyable to ride. I really feel like Kahari is my own horse even though she is not because I have built such an amazing bond with her.
Summer is the sweetest horse ever! She is 5 years old and is an Arabian/Quarter Horse Cross. I have been working with Summer for about 4 or 5 months. Summer is my trainer’s horse and I have worked alongside him to train Summer. She has come a long way since I first started working with her. She went from not even trained to now, we can ride her. I think she is capable of doing great things one day!
